The Master Plan

A community as unique as Aqua Waterfront Village demands a collaboration of equal measure. Master-planned by Mission Group in partnership with acclaimed architectural firm IBI Group and noted interior design company LPI Design, the concept of Aqua has been many years in the making.

The Mission Group Story

For nearly two decades, Mission Group has contributed to Kelowna as the most prolific builder in the Okanagan. With many years of development work between the two of them, Jonathan Friesen and Randall Shier, the founders of Mission Group, have continued to build it forward together. Creating everything from single-family homes to townhouses, low-rise wood-frame dwellings and finally, to master-planned urban and resort-style concrete high-rise communities.

The Architecture

With an impressive global portfolio, IBI Group was a natural choice to bring the necessary gravitas to Aqua’s design. An award-winning architectural firm, IBI Group is renowned for their innovative approach to architecture, intelligent systems, and efficient infrastructure. Since 2011, they have been ranked as one of the largest architecture and engineering firms in the world.

The Design

Aqua’s elegant interiors were created by Lisa Perry, Director of LPI Design. With over 30 years working in the fashion, art, and development industries, Lisa has cultivated a reputation for her timeless style and intuitive design eye. With the philosophy that interior design, above all else, must be approached from the mindset of the homebuyer, Lisa has spent her career building an extensive portfolio of successful projects.
